Power Move: Think Dial, Not Switch

Making a move in improving your fitness can mean taking an incremental, sustainable approach to fitness. It doesn’t have to be drastic to work.

⭐ When your 5x/week gym time has to change …
⭐ When your intense focus on meeting macros has fizzled out …
⭐ When you feel burned out and can’t force yourself to do the hard things …
⭐ When you thought for sure you’d get a 5k PR but are nursing chronic injuries …

MOVE THE DIAL.

Transparent light green background with Impact 3 logos, and the words read "Move the Dial. Don't flip the switch." There is a visual of a gauge in rainbow shape with the needle pointing at red, with green to the far right, and then a red "off/on" switch below.

❓ Will it look different? Yes.
❓ Will it keep you going for the long term? Yes.
❓Is that where the magic happens, over the longer term? YES.

Take a few moments and consider what areas of life you could stop flipping from ON to OFF and instead think about progress on a continuum. What can you do to improve a little bit every day? Or even just some of the days?

Being mentally flexible about changes that have to happen is a long-term success strategy. And remember, “better” is, 99% of the time, the choice that’ll see longer-term results than “perfection” ever will.
