Nutrition Tips to Add in – Today!

If you struggle with feeling hungry constantly, there are some nutrition tips we like to share with clients to help them feel fuller. These behavioral tips and practices are ones you can implement the next time you eat. Here are some actionable things you can do today:
???????? Add in protein and veggies each meal. Notice this doesn’t say ONLY eat protein and veggies each meal – that could be a thing you do, depending on your total caloric daily goals, but we’ve found that looking to add, rather than only subtract, is a strong practice when it comes to learning to eat a diet in line with goals. ➕ in fiber – including those veggies we just mentioned count!
???? Drinking enough fluids throughout the day (especially as we go into hotter months) will increase feeling of satiety.
???? Eating complex carbs – and these don’t have to be punishment! Eat what you like.
???? Include healthy fats in moderation – think egg yolks, pistachios, or avocados.
???? Use seasonings! Enjoying your food really isn’t impossible, even if it takes a little work. Sauces are also great, but be mindful of portions as they can contribute to overall higher calories.
