???? Tips for Hydrated Exercise: Essential Advice to Beat the Heat and Stay Workout Ready ????
Our IL friends know that despite entering a time of transition in the next few weeks where our little and grown-sized kiddos head back to school, the summer heat is very possibly just ramping up. ????

Hydration is key to maintaining a normal body temperature and preventing dehydration during exercise and in the heat!
???? Pre-exercise (2-3 hours before): Aim to drink 14-20 ounces of water.
???? During exercise: Aim to drink 5-10 ounces of water every 15-20 minutes.
???? If activity is over 1 hour or it’s hot/humid: Try a sports drink that contains electrolytes and, if needed, a bit of carbohydrate.
???? After exercise: Keep drinking water to recover sweat losses.
